Winter Camp in the Mountains
Snow-covered peaks, crisp mountain air, and the chance to encounter God in a powerful way—Winter Camp at Ponderosa is the highlight of the season for youth groups across the region.
Faith That Warms the Heart
In the middle of winter’s chill, we gather for high-energy worship, Christ-centered messages, and small group times designed to help students grow deeper in their faith. Winter Camp is a space where teens can step away from everyday distractions, hear God’s voice, and be challenged to live boldly for Him.
Adventure & Fun in the Snow
When they’re not in worship or church group, campers are out in the snow—sledding down hills, competing in camp-wide games, sipping hot chocolate or making s'mores by the fire. From snowball battles to cozy late-night hangouts with friends, Winter Camp is full of unforgettable moments.
Stronger Together
Winter Camp is about more than just fun—it’s about community. Students return home with stronger friendships, closer connections to their youth group, and a deeper passion for following Christ.

* A Note from Our Executive Director
Dear Summit Leaders,
I'm sure you have noticed the increase in price for camps in 2027. I wanted to share a few things to explain these changes as I know you will be the ones who discuss with parents of our campers.
Ponderosa has always been intentional to stay on the most affordable price bracket compared to other similar camps and when comparing apples to apples of what is actually included, we have always maintained one of the highest value per dollar rates out of any other camp ministries.
This is largely possible due to a generous funding through the North American Mission Board (NAMB) who gives $4000 per session to help offset some of the costs of worship leaders, camp pastors, sound technicians, etc, and maintainable due to the increasing popularity and guest volumes of Ponderosa.
During a time when we have seen almost every item drastically increasing in price as well as minimum wage going up around 10% per year, we have resisted the trend to do yearly price increases, and have sought to only increase prices every 3 years.
2027 will mark 3 years since our last price increase and we have prayerfully calculated what it needs to be now to keep us from going negative on our camps and the actual costs to operate them. We will commit to do our best to keep these prices the same for the next 3 years. The rundown of the prices are below with some comparative pricing included.
Peak Camp was $255 now $305, Increased $50
Summit Camp was 335, now $380, Increased $45
Summit Winter Camp was $170, now $184, Increased $14
To compare with some local camp ministries 2026 prices from their respective websites:
Eagle Lake Camp 2026 pricing: Summit equivalent $650-$950
Idrahaje 2026 pricing: Summit equivalent $624-$780
Camp Elim 2026 pricing: Peak equivalent $375, Summit equivalent $550-$675
In our research, there were no program camps that were the same price or less than Ponderosa's program camps, and most of the above examples include less activities than Peak and Summit Include.
Yours In Christ,
Andrew Clark
